One of the Ten Commandments is: "Thou Shalt Not Murder!"
Killing an innocent human being is a capital sin.

Paradoxically, those who are killing, in the name of God (!) ["In God we
trust"], are calling themselves "Christians"!!!
They transgress the Law of their God, day after day; but they continue
to consider themselves "good" christians... Should we laugh, or should
we cry? It's sad, but it's true: according to the Christian religion they
are criminals--without any doubt.

Who really cares about the mothers, the children, the wifes of the
American soldiers killed in this war?
Who knows what invaluable contributions to the mankind's progress
could be brought by some of those killed, if they would be still alive?
Billions of dollars, from the hard-working American tax payers are
WASTED in this stupid "regional conflict"; instead of being used to
educate people, for example.

It worths it? Maybe for the producers of military equipments--who are
delivering their products to BOTH beligerants.
It worths it? Yes--as long as those who are killed are not the relatives
of those who planned this war.

The fact is that the so-called "peace", maintained with the help of the
weapons (!), will NOT solve the increasing number of problems with
which is confronting the American society. So, what's the use of this
war, on long term, for the majority of us?

Well, in order to answer that question, ask yourself this: what the hell did they die for? Sure as hell wasn't "freedom" because Iraq never had WMDs in the first place. And it doesn't look like the Iraqi people are going to be "free" any time soon with all these insurgents blowing themselves up all the time. If the US forces doesn't know how the handle them, what makes you think the Iraqi forces can?

NO, the war started against all rejections from the UNO, americans were sure there was WMD, they were wrong(maybe they knew that they r wrong), and it was not war for freedom(just visit Iraq and u'll understand what kind of freedom they have), iraqis got rid of dictator but now have americans and terrorists killing them to hundreds a day

With their in simple terms approximately on a daily basis suicide bombings of one yet another....the conflict between Shia and Sunni that has been raging for some years in Iraq, has killed many extra Iraqis than the human beings have.

Thats because there is no perfect war. I've never heard of a war that no soldier died willingly for their contry. Yes, this is the cause of freedom , because some things must be done to earn peace, justice and freedom.

Not so far.. Unfortunatley, Saddam did a better job keeping order than the US. Yes, he was a terrible dictator but civilians can't even go to the store to get supplies without being killed.
Hopefully this will change but it doesn't look like it will.

your question will never be answered fully to any extent.
one side believes no lives are worth looseing
and the oppisite say sacrifice a few for the greater cause.
I say support the troops, because of their sacrifice and not because of political decissions.
I don't believe that we should ask " was it worth it", but ask what can we do to help & support the people that are risking their lives while we type away behind our computers, answering all these unneeded questions.

Of course it is not worth it and I don't feel any more free now that Saddam is gone.
As for the dead innocent Iraqis, they should feel free now that they don't have to put up with the occupation by the Amerikan army
