It's good to have a few close friends, those you can confide in about just about anything. And then it is advisable to have quite a bunch of casual friends, those you like and enjoy doing things with, even in a group, but who you would not necessarily tell your deepest secrets to. Then there are acquaintances, people you know and probably are friendly toward. Just don't get your "acqaintances" mixed up with your "friends." Still, acquaintances can eventually become your friends.

It depends. You always need a few close friends. But it's also good to have a lot for parties and availability.

it's better to have a lot of friends because then you will always have someone to talk to always. when one friend is busy you can chill with another. but sometimes having to many friend can sometimes be bad cause they might not all get along or some might get jealous and stuff like that.

I prefer to have a small number of freinds that know me better than anyone. (Five people or less.) I spend every possible moment with them. But I like to talk to other people and have tons of acquaintances, just in case I need to ask for a favor. LoL.

you could mixture with lots of persons and be pleasant with them, yet at the same time as a reliable friendship develops you received a reliable chum. reliable acquaintances are literally not many! reliable friendships arising in accordance with sympathy in the route of one yet another, honesty, reliability, believe, similar pastimes and believes and the willingness to be there and help one yet another at the same time as it truly is necessary. This attributes are literally not effortless between one man or woman and the gang. So some reliable one!

I prefer quality over quantity. If you have one true friend, you are very rich, indeed. I have many acquaintances and people I enjoy that share one aspect of my many interests...so it broadens my horizons and exposes me to different ideologies...but I am most content in the presence of my one true best friend.
