So my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and a half. Everytime we have intercourse, I get leakage out of vagina after sex. Will this prevent me from having children?
Plus I took an ovulation test and it says that I will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours.... how do i prevent for the sperm coming out?? I elevate my hips, and lay in bed over night.... I can't seem to get pregnant. Any ideas?

Lay on your back, bend your knees, and move your legs in a circular motion. Make the exact same motion as if you were riding a bike, only you're on your back, and you're naked, and you're not riding a bike lol...

Let me tell you what we did the month I got pg:
I stopped laying on my back after sex, I laid on my stomach.
I charted my temps on fertilityfriend.com
I drank green tea up until ovualtion, to increase cervical mucus(CM).
I took Robitussin a few days before ovulation to thin CM, making it easier for sperm to move through.
I took prenatal vitamins everyday.
Hubby took a multi-vitamin with Iron.
I took 25mg of Vit. B6 each day.
I used Dollar Tree ovulation prediction kits, they were very realiable for me.

Now, I don't know that any of these worked, or if it was just meant to be, but it won't hurt to try any of them! Anything that leaks out, doesn't matter...its just seminal fluid, although it contains sperm, there are sperm already on their way to meet the egg! Good Luck!!

I have read you should not wait and have sex just during ovulation, sperm die off in the testes causing a weaker sperm count.
Have you been to the doctor about your efforts?

Ok this might be hard to do but...
A doc told my friend to not have sex at all until you are ovulating. This is because more sperm will come out. Otherwise it is not sperm coming out. As far as leakage, i think thats normal and ok....you could try hanging upside down. No I am serious! sit agaist the wall with your legs up. Well, its worth a try....good luck

don't think about getting pregnant while you are having intercourse or after because if you stress that will be what does it partly but you will always have leakage will at least i did but what work with me and my husband and i dont know if i can say it over this or not but try getting off at the same time because that will open you up and let his sperm come through easier.

I tried to get pregnant for 4 years and tried the ovulation kits. Best thing I 've ever bought was the ovulation thermometer. You take your temperature and chart it. Also look for the signs and read your body. Many of us get a stretchy discharge when ovulating. Also, have him wear boxers...really. It kills less sperm when the air is circulating in his pants. Trust me....this advice comes 3 kids later!

Trust me sperm gets in there. It's normal for sperm to come out after sex. If you've been trying for over a year, have you thought about seeing a fertility doctor.

Everyone has leakage. If you fill a balloon with water then lay it down, water will leak out, but the inside of the balloon is still wet, right? Only a drop of sperm is all it takes, and believe me, you will get preg. soon!

The leakage is mostly just semen and not sperm. The sperm start making their way into the cervix within minutes of ejaculation.

Sperm always leaks out, but there are plenty that are swimming to where they need to go. If you have been trying that long, please consider going to see an infertility doctor who can test you and your husband to rule out any reasons for your lack of conception. Good luck!

try instead cups. there these little cup like things that you insert after sex to keep the semen in. alot of women use them during there period instead of tampons or pads, but i know of alot of women using them to help them conceive.
