define roots and dig up your tree in the backyard because history proves you wrong. Understand jihad, realize it's a religious war. That excuse is a mute point to those of us who are actaully went to college.
As for the root, there is no one simple anwser. It's a variety, but the biggest reasons are known to everyone. Yes THE USA supports israel, we are a nation under god whether you agree or not. We will support israel forever, and it's not just foriegn policy ask the world why they hate america, it's a country to be jealous of, our way of life, our culture, our morals (old), standard of living, the things we stand for, built on christianity. give me a break "kid".

Well for the U.S to turn it's back on Israel would mean the destruction of Israel, and I think you forget any non Muslim is considered an infidel. I really don't believe they would stop just because the U.S. ran home scared. But lets just check the Koran for it's input

The terrorist do not like the US because they allow the women rights. Teach that freedom to choice which church to go to is ok and that the US does NOT kill you because you leave the muslum religion.
