u mean biting the insides of there mouth?, well it can be annoying with the skin on the inside of the mouth on the cheeks, and so some people bite it and it regrows but when you bite it off it prevents you from biting it accidently. Basically it's getting rid of the thickness of the skin.
It's more common then you think a lot of people do it, not always minging people either. I do it, and lots of people class me as fit,beautifull and gorgeous im not an ugly or minging chavette or any dumb word like that.
It's simply natural.

am a minging type girl and i dont bite my cheek when am waiting round for something...i just hum and har instead.

Whenever I am asked a a difficult and meaningful question that I find beyond my intellect, I ask my cat. Her name is Maggie Simpson. She is thirteen years old and much better at cattiness than me. I asked her about your dilemma and to my amazement here response was, "Am I bovvered?"
I just don't know how to deal with these teenagers.

Because shallow people tend jto judge people on their looks and not personality some people, who do not look like the rest and some who lack confidence feel bad about themelves are probably nervous and do it because they are feeling self conscious.

Not noticed either, but there are people that would rather look like they are out of a cartoon or comic, I assume you've noticed something on those lines.
