Try using a light coat coat of toothpaste, let it set, then buff it off. Worked for some of my dvd's

an exceptionally scratched DVD maximum in all probability needs to get replaced. those products are in all probability stable for smaller scratches, yet i think you are able to have problems with the DVD. My suggestion is to the two purchase a clean one or attempt the felt textile textile it is designed to get rid of scratches from CD's/DVD's.

Try cleaning your player with a "wet" system.If it still skips try it on another player. I had a DVD that always skipped (I had tried everything), my sister borrowed it, and it played on her machine just fine.

If the scratch is in the reflective coating then the dvd id dv-busted.

get a wet (with water) kleenex and rub the side of the DVD that is read.
