Power Rating = pr = p + r + a = points + rebounds + assists
This system was developed to eliminate opinion and it is very simple and not complex.

Odom - 14.8 + 9.2 + 5.5 = 29.5
Marion - 21.8 + 11.8 + 1.8 = 35.4
Marion had a better year.
Career
Odom - 15.8 + 8.5 + 4.6 = 28.9
Marion - 18.7 + 10.1 + 2.1 = 30.9
Marion's career number are better.

Shawn Marion, hands down. Odom is a good player but doesn't work as hard on defense as Marion does. Extra points to Marion because of that nasty fall he took a few years back. He's hardcore

it depends on what your talking about. as individual players lamar odom is better. shawn marion is only good when theres someone to get him open, because he cannot create anything by himself on offense. lamar odom is better because hes very versatile, his size, along with his dribbling skills and court vision make him a hard matchup for defenses. shawn marion is NOT a good defensive player by the way he gets beat all the time - no one on the suns plays defense except for raja bell.

Marion cuz he is great on the fast break, and great with show-bow dunks. Odom is only good in shooting and basically half-court offense/defense. I still despise Marion's shot.
