I agree but the answer to your question is sadly no.Money determines what policy's are implemented and there is no money in conserving the environment.
As long as money and big business rule the world it will never happen.

I'm for conserving, but I am not riding a bike or taking a bus.
Our bus system is slow & sporadic here. I drive a fuel effect car - over 30 miles to gallon, but that is it for me. There is plenty of oil - we just need to get it from offshore drilling & Alaska.

Your seriously think thats going to happen when big buisness is making so much money from the fossil fuel trade?

Wait till we reach the crisis point..then theirs gonna be some 'miracle' fuel, sold to us for a profit of course

I agree completely. The current price of oil is high enough to make people complain, but not quite high enough for the majority of people to do something about it. If the price goes much higher, I suspect that we'll see market forces really kick in and people get serious about cutting back. Unfortunately, don't look for it before then.

Don't need to! When the price of gas gets to $5 per gallon corn will be $5 per bushel, and our farmers will grow lots of it, and we'll use it for fuel. Soy beans for diesel too. We could do a lot of good by using nuclear power. No one has ever died in America from nuclear power. It's clean and renewable.

I agree with you. You should mention too you can save money by reducing your gas use, of course, and help the environment!

P.S. I loved your terminology, get off the nipple, ha. (I'm easily amused)

No, the problem is Islamo-facism and illegal aliens. That doesn't mean we should not be continually seeking energy replacement that leaves the Arabs high and dry in their sand pits, it means take care of the two most important issues first, in a way that puts America first for a change.
