No, technically, your IQ should remain stable, despite your age. If you had an IQ of 115 when you were 9, you should have an IQ somewhere around 110 and 120 (give or take) when you are 45.
Your mental age is your age equivalency of functioning. So, if you are 15 and you have an IQ of 100 (perfectly average), your mental age would be 15 (your functioning is equivalent to the average 15 year old- you can do at 15 what the average 15 year old is capable of achieving). If you are 5 and you have an IQ of 150 (upper extreme), you may have a mental age of 12-14. Meaning, that at age 5, your level of cognitive functioning is equivalent to the average 12-14 year old (or at age 5, you are able to understand what most kids in middle school can understand). If you are 9 and have an IQ of 79, you may have a mental age of 5-7. Meaning, at the age of 9, your level of cognitive functioning is equivalent to the average 5-7 year old.
The only way to accurately determine your IQ or mental age (although IQ is more supported) is to get a standardized and valid IQ test from a licensed psychologist.

sortof, IQ, intelligence quotient, = 100 X mental age/chronological age(actual age),
so if your mental age is 11 and you are 10 years old then 11/10= 1.1 X 100 = IQ of 110. Mental age is determined by IQ tests.
it sure boosts your ego seeing your in the top .9% intelligence wise in the world=)

No your IQ is your intelectual quetiant. Your mental age has more to do with your ability to learn, and continue to learn. Ways to improve are doing new things that require thought, and concentration. IE puzzles of any kind, brain stimulating games, and etc.

No, An Intelligence Quotient indicates a person's mental abilities relative to others of approximately the same age. Everyone has hundreds of specific mental abilities--some can be measured accurately and are reliable predictors of academic and financial success.

I don't know about mental age, but I do know that it is one's ability to learn. In other words, you could have a great S.A.T score or have great grades in school, but that doesn't mean your I.Q is high, and vice versa......you can't study for the I.Q test because it is simply what you were born with and will have the rest of your life......your own unique ability to learn.
