might need to reconfigure your comp for cd usage good luck

Does it happen with all CDs or only specific ones?
Do the CDs play normally on other players/computers?
Does your CD drive play data CDs normally?
Or maybe your CD is copy-controlled - not sure if it will affect playing it in iTunes, but worth checking.

You might have to format the disk --

I assumed it was a blank cd for burning, is that correct?
