I cannot remember what this was called but it had a handle in the middle of a string with two balls, one on each end of the string, that the user would bang together up and down by moving the handle up and down. Mine had glass balls but they came out later with some that were plastic. Can you help me with the name?

I'm older than 40, and I had several of those when I was a kid, but I can't remember what the heck they were called. They were fun though. Mine were always made of plastic. I haven't seen those in years! Thanks for bringing back the memories! Hope someone can help with the name.

Weren't they called knockers, or clackers or something like that. I had a version someone gave me that had soft balls at the end and they called it an Alaskan yo-yo
