clearing saved sites from the address bar in internet explorer?

how to get all the visited sites out from this drop down box at the adress box, theres way too many, its kind of annoying

from the tools menu, click internet options, click on "delete history"

Click on the pencil next to the search bar, click toolbar options, make sure Enable Search History is NOT checked and it will stop saving your sites

click the tools bar then go browser options and click clear URL and clear search simple!
