just ask in general, they can both answer me
"hey you guys know were what ever it is I am looking for in the first place is?"
then let them decide who will tell me.

The one on the right is usually the male and they have better direction, but if looking for the bathroom being female the one on the left because she would better know. Have a good one:-)
