This is hard for me...I am trying not to be biased. I LOVE Israel becuse Jesus did miracles there. I honestly have had bad experiences with muslim's discriminating against me for not being muslim and for being a female American. But, neither religions have Jesus Christ properly. Jesus is the Son of God and our King and Savior. They both deny him as Messiah and Christ! I hate to see the blood shed. No Jesus, No Peace. Know Jesus, Know Peace, I guess... I pray for you all... What else can I do to help!

Dear Cherylyoung! VERY GOOD! However, You must be very careful my dear! The devil takes a little bit of truth and makes a big whole lie out of it! That is what he did to Adam and Eve. It states in the New Testament that Jesus returns because people are persecuting his people!!! =Christians and Jews for the most part! Also the Bible clearly states that you must not accept another book! Jesus completed the Divine Prophesies! There is NO NEED for another prophet! I would hate for you to slip down a sugary slide to satan's half truth! Jesus Christ did it ALL and He deserves better!

Actually, you may be surprised that Muslims do believe in Jesus. They believe that Jesus was the son of Mary (Iesa bin Maryam) but not the son of God (Allah.) and not the Savior. They believe that Jesus is the Messiah and will come during the end times to defeat the anti-Christ (Ad Dajaal.) Muslims also believe in the gospel of Jesus which they call the Injil. Basically, it is the red letter words of Jesus from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

There is a lot in the Qur'an about killing non-Muslims, too. I am from SE MIchigan where there is the largest concentration of Muslims outside the Middle East so I also have experienced how Muslims treat American women.

The leader of Iran believes in manifest destiny and that it is part of prophecy to destroy Israel. Then Al Mahdi (guided one) will appear to lead the Muslims and Masiyah Iesa bin Maryam will defeat Ad Dajaal then will be Judgment Day (Qiyahmah).

Jews, too, have strong messianic beliefs. Jews do not believe that Jesus was the messiah but they do respect him as a rabbi. Jews believe that when the messiah comes, the Temple will be built.

You may want to look at a website which compares the eschatology of the three Abrahamic religions.

Your idea of prayer is good. We can all pray to God in our own way for peace in the world before it is destroyed.

The problems in the Middle East are not just about religion. It is about politics, power and control. On Sunday Israel's cabinet will vote whether to accept the UNSC resolution 1701 for cease fire. Hezbollah has agreed but it maintains it has the right to defend itself against Israel. That will probably mean it will start fighting again. So really prayer is a better option than diplomacy

Those crazy muslims you speak of are just as fanatical as you - only muslim. You should try to find some common ground with the muslims that hate you.

You've both taken religion WAY too seriously so at least youve got something in common with them. I look forward to seeing you photo on the front page of the newspaper under the headline "It started as a normal day . . . "

I think you posted this in the wrong category. But you are probably as stressed and unhappy about this war as other people. And if praying helps you feel better, less impotent, well, I'm glad you can pray.
