If you are looking for a cheap place to stay: NEW PENINSULA fits the bill. 2 star. Clean. Close to the electronics souk and the bus station. Under renovations. Friendly staff. There are others on the flip side of the creek as well.

try to live in deira side the only problem in that area is traffic and prostitutes
so will get something affordable so keep on looking
