I'd like your point of view about this analyzis :

"September 11th, 2001 attacks made 3025 innocent victims. But this tragedy would not have occurred without the incredible arrogance of the American foreign policy during these last ten years.

Since the collapse of the USSR, the United States became the only superpower of an unipolar world. Strong of their geopolitical, military, economic power, and technological, United States wanted to impose on the whole world their vision, their choices, their model of society, their culture, their economic order, by means of a process called " globalization” or “new world order”.

Without having realized it, the United States aroused a strong anti-American feeling including in the friendly countries, as in Europe, where a majority of people refuse what the USA try to impose: globalization, wild capitalism, OGM, merchandising of the alive, the multilateral agreements inspired by multinationals...

First pollutant of the planet, the USA refused to ratify the agreements of Kyoto on the environment and the emissions of CO2, and they ignored the development of the misery and the slavery in the world, assuming the right to take what they want, where they want, also assuming the right to bombard any country. (USA intervened militarily 111 times since the beginning of the 20 century except 2 world wars)

This arrogance face to the rest of the world pulled that most of the countries have for America some respect, or fear, or hatred, but very few friendship.

Its a good analysis of one view point of america. Its not hatred, its a statement, you can say America has an aggressive foreign policy and not be a yank-hater.

Personally, i think it is a sound analysis

The writer seems to assign hatred of America to the whole world at a time (before Bush basically) when only a small part of the world (extremists) hated America. I believe the large majority of the world hates America now, but that was after our John Wayne wannabe president ticked off the world by acting unilaterally on nearly every decision America has made since 9/11/01. The rest of the world isn't splitting hairs with Americans and just assumes we all want war with everyone so that we can build an empire, when it is only a small percentage (approximately 30%) who support the President in this matter. Basically I'm saying the writer got the result right but the reason behind it wrong. And that makes fixing it harder because we'd be trying to fix the wrong "reason" on this.

It's really sad the the regular folks living in America are brushed with the paint of the policies of the government. That's why it is hard to understand the hate coming from the regular folks in other countries. Others aren't hated by regular Americans for what their governments do. Americans have a curiosity about how other people live and like to see other places in this world. Why can't we all just get along ? Save the 'fighting' for our own governments for change in policies and procedures. Many Americans are unhappy with the way things have been going and change will come about. It takes awhile to gain the momentum to move the lumbering beast of current governmental practices.

You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

"An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim.
In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services. But they also welcome the least.

The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America.

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

In American English there is an expression about 'the pot calling the kettle black.' Research the meaning and think about the fact that here it is no better or worse than anywhere else.

I am sad to see that there are such prejudiced and hateful peope in the world like you who project evil onto other just because of where they happen to live. Why can't you be tolerant?

The 9/11 attacks were in response to the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia. Bin Ladin made a statement on television that Al Quada wanted to drve the US millitary out of Saudi Arabia because that country is the location to the two most holy sites for the Muslim religion.
