What is the name of this older anime cartoon with a little boy that I think liked ping pong and was in love with this older girl and everytime he would see a girl's underware he would react like Scooby when he was given the Scooby Snack.

I'm just guessing because I've never seen the anime I'm about to suggest, but maybe Ping Pong Club? I know it's not Tenchi Muyo . . . because Tenchi wouldn't act that way about girl's panties.
