People who know how to reason for themselves. Who consider each topic on its own merits. People who don't bend to party pressure in making tough decisions, but rather do the research themselves and choose based on their honest opinions.

Sounds like you are continuing the name calling by the way you worded your question. Everyone has a different definition of what liberal and conservative means; so labelling someone as a liberal is merely name-calling for the sake of acting childish. Some people would call me a liberal, others would call me a conservative, depending on what my views are on various issues. The use of Liberal Vs Conservative has gotten too well used by the media and politicians as a cover to totally disregard or ignore a discussion and possible resolution of many of those very social issues. If you promote feeding the hungry, homeless children that do exist in the back streets and rural areas of our country-are you liberal? If you promote taking land away from a family so a rich developer can build a shopping center and profit from it, are you a conservative? Let's all aim to tear down these labels and make those who use them be more accountable in their words and their actions.

I've been called all the names in the book, if I don't agree with a Liberal I'm a neocon if I don't agree with a Conservative I'm a libiturd. It is really all they can do in response to an unbiased opinion.
