I recently told my mom's friend that I was free on two days for a labor day party. While waiting to hear which day the party was going to be, my cousin (who lives two hours away) scheduled a party for Sunday. My mom's friend called and said that she decided to have her party on Sunday. Which should I attend, the family party or the my mom's mom's friend's party that I originally said I was available to attend?

You need to go to the first one you said you would attend. Sorry!

thats a tough one.

if the first one would have told you for sure, then id say go to that one.

as it is, decide which you would rather go to and then make sure to make apologies to the one that you dont attend.
