Liriano isn't out for the season, but if the Twins fall out of contention, they won't risk bringing him back. I would put him on the DL for now, and see what happens. If by early September he isn't back, drop him.

I just want to bring up this was part of the BEST GIANTS TRADE EVER--they gave up Liriano and Joe Nathan for one season of AJ Pierzynski!
