Hello,
I suggest Limewire. I've been using it for the last couple years and I've had very few problems. Works great and I'm able to find what I'm looking for 95% of the time.
I also suggest you have an Antivirus solution such as AVG Antivirus installed, you should anyway if you're on the internet.

Limewire- Software itself is clean but most files on there have viruses or spyware
Bearshare- Comes with adware
Frostwire- None yet
Kazza- bundeled with spyware
iMesh- Not everything is on there
Torrents- Nothing yet
