No it will not take away your tan ,in fact it is a very good product to use to cleanse your face but you might need to moisturize after, unless you have oily skin then this will be perfect. Some times people use this when they are sun burnt because it takes the sting out of the burn but it will not take your tan.

To be honest... I don't know. Perhaps you can do a search for their company. I do know that if my skin becomes, hot and oily, I love cooling down with Noxzema. I use it only if I've been exposed a few hours... it's not for people with sensitive skin. They have a Noxzema for sensitive skin, I never tried it. I can say from my personal experience I get brighter after using, it probably won't take your tan completely away. As for skin that's been exposed for more than 2-3 hours, I'd suggest further research, cause your skin may get irritated, especially if it's red, achy, and peeling... so be careful and use as directed.

I don't think it does, but if you want lighter skin wear a hat and sunscreen when you're outside. Personally I like a light tan.

Don't worry it doesn't I have been using it for years and it's never done anything but keep my skin clear, and fresh. Also my grandmother has been using it all her life and has really aged very well. I have no idea if it has anything to do with that but I do know it works well for me.

No, it will not mess up your tan, which is under the top layer of skin.

I wonder if it depends on your race. I am a black woman, and tan colored, and I noticed when I used it, it did lighten my skin.
