It's a conspiracy.
Both groups are so effectively licking the asses of corporations to get money and favors, they only have 1% of their time left to do their jobs. So they spend that time fingerpointing at each other, whereupon they immediately go back to corporate asskissing, their fulltime occupation.

Where do I start? Both parties have gone out of their way to make large sections of the public dependent on government. They understand that a large majority of the public is ignorant, uninformed, or lazy and will gladly accept things offered to them as "charity". They have even gone as far as to force us to accept some of them, ie social security. The two party system allows them to keep getting away with the scandals and corruption, because when we get fed up with one party, we will take our vote to the other. The other in turn will eventually commit the same offenses and what does the public do? They go back to the other party. As much as the Republicans want you to think they are opposed to the Democrats and vice versa, let me assure you, all politicians understand that they need the other party in order to assure their own survival. We could change this if people would open their minds, become informed, and vote Libertarian.

It's a one party system like in tag team wrestling. The Dem's put us in a choke hold while the Repub's smash us with the chair.
They have effectively squelched most attempts at third party participation and feed us bulls*** that there is a choice in this country.
For any chance at real change we need to kill PAC's and publicly fund campaign finance. The playing field is not level and the people are no longer being represented.

The two party system is a joke. We need more independent thinking. They both act like "gangs." What we have in Washington is a bunch of spoiled brats making decisions that benefit the corporations that fill their pockets. "We the people" have become "We the morons" because we let these losers keep getting elected by voting for the same bozos year after year. America we need to wake up!

Because Republicans and Democrats are two wings of the same bird of prey that is eating America alive. We NEED to evacuate the People from both, and start over with the Libertarians and the American Independents.

Help?? Sorry to say., but our GDP is higher than the rest of the G8. There are only a few oil-rich countries where the average person lives better than we do. you may not believe it, becasue someone you do not know has no healthcare and some crack-hoe's kid didn;t eat, becasue her mom can;t hold a job.
Perhaps, when you are home, complaining that a big mac went up 10C and your gas price went up another penny, you should consider those who did not eat in other countries

great question... because everyone wants to be seen as the savior of the day in a matter of speaking. It would make sense if we could work together but unfortunately when ignorance and selfish greed steps in it divids the two parties. We need better leaders who are willing to sit at the table and work together no doubt.

It called democracy,
(,argue different ideals and try to meet in the middle.)
At least that was the way it was, until the republicans took the house and senate.
But we will get back to business soon,as our votes will show what democracy is really about

Because politicians are rarely in the positions they're in now because they love the country... they're in it because they love the power that comes with the job.
So, rather than concentrate on doing what's GOOD for the country, they work on furthering their career... and you do that by attacking your opponents. Bipartisanship is killing the country.
Selfishness.
