Um.. i no this is going to sound wierd but yes i have put them in my mouth and no they dont tast good, they taste like cotton, but once they get all sawgy they start to taste funny.

Cotton balls don't taste like anything, they just dry your mouth up.

Their taste is not good or repellent... but their texture is very bad for the human mouth. We're talking about something you can't chew and your saliva doesn't do any good to make those balls more edible. So you shouldn't really try to eat them, unless it is a part of your obsession and you feel compelled to taste one..
