PIZZA HUT IS THE BEST DOMINOS SUCKS

2006-08-16 09:50:07 · answer #1 · answered by pepsikiss 5 · 0 0

I have worked for Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Godfather's Pizza as far as national chains go, I've worked for Bloomington/Normal Illinois "local" stores such as Grady's (which has a "Family Fun Park" attached) and a really awesome place called Prime Time Pizza. I worked at Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Godfather's Pizza in Kansas, while I also worked at PH and Domino's here in Bloomington Illinois.

IN MY OPINION, as a paying customer - not as an employee - Prime Time Pizza is the best all round choice. They have an awesome menu selection, they have great prices, and from what I and my friends that have shared in my generosity, they and I both love Prime Time.

Also, getting back to the actual topic, out of the two listed, I much prefer Pizza Hut. Where else can you get a "Large Stuffed Crust Meat Lover's and a 2liter of Mountain Dew"? Of course, my personal favorite was when I would use - instead of the hand-tossed dough like they're supposed to - the "Pan style" dough and put the ring cheese around that!!! OH MY GOSH, that was awesome! However, their Del/Co doesn't stay open as late as Domino's, OR Prime Time for that matter.

Pizza Hut uses actual dough for their pans, whether it's frozen when it comes in, that's not an issue. What I really don't like, and it really bugs me, is the pre-made "zesty" wheels that Domino's makes their "pan style" pizzas on - that cost you a dollar more!

I can say that I prefer the cinnastix and bbq chicken so much more from Domino's - they rock. And, since they use Coke products, it's really kinda a toss up - I don't like Coke. So, if you get the like 555 deal (3 med. 1 toppings for $5 each) and a 2 liter, you're going to have a relatively innexpensive dinner.

With Pizza hut, you'll have a really good dinner, and a 2 liter of some Pepsi product if you go for a combo, but you better be able to afford it.

With Prime Time - you can't go wrong from either end, quantity AND quality. As a bonus, you'll probably be able to afford it easier too.

[EDIT]

To Bllnickie:

Just because you don't like something doesn't mean you need to lie. Dominos does not skimp on the 5/5/5 pizzas or any other pizzas for that matter. They use the same spec for everything going out the door. And, due to the lack of respect for the spec by many make line workers - since they're only making minimum wage anyway - they often over do the spec. I was an employee, in 2 states, multiple stores, and I've watched them made in 3 states. So, if you're going to post an opinion, at the very least, KEEP IT FACTUAL. I'm not saying your opinions are wrong, but your factuality leaves something to be desired.

I'll pick Pizza Hut 10 out of 10 times over Domino's. They're very creative, it's never the same pizza twice. It also tastes better.

But if you really want good pizza, find a good independent or small chain New York-style pizza place.

Yes, there's a real difference. Pizza Hut gets my vote hands down. I never got introduced to that nasty Domino's stuff until I went to college. Pizza Hut's pan pizza is the bomb, especially when they crisp up the pepperonis. Yum!

Yes the sauces are different. I prefer Pizza Hut if it is just a choice over these two chains.

Fortunately I live where I can have good Chicago Pizza from Giordanos.
