Not if it was a trial run, Yes if you signed up with a credit card, and not disputing it. When you cancel, and hopefully you actually canceled the account, they will give you a confirmation number, and if not, then demand one. And by law they have to send this cancellation confirmation by mail to you. If you did not actually cancel, Yes they can enforce it.. Good Luck

hold on most computers have the AOL software on them and other internet software if you dont click on the icon's and sign up for there service then your not get any internet access bill so if your getting internet acces bill in the post from AOL you must have sign up with AOL by clicking on the AOL icon on your pc (AOL TRY FREE ) it is not free at all best thing to do is remove AOL & all the other internet try now junk from your pc if you dont want to use it & stop anyone using it
click on my computer icon open it click on your pc hard drive (c) click on program files
right click the online services ..folder and click on delete
then delete it from your pc bin
then click on start/ control panel /add.remove
look in the list for any AOL click on them 1 by 1 and click the remove tab also in that list look for other junk internet servers and click on them and click remove and any junk toolbars in there as some toolsbars carry spyware in them if you did sign up with AOL call them give them the credit card number you used to try aol out with and say you wish to end your service with AOL as there 100% crap

Yes they can put it on your credit report although you have a right to a letter of rebuttal. This is typical AOL.
