How can I fix my shiny pants?

I have a pair of black cotton/nylon pants that I used too hot an iron on. Now they're all shiny. I've washed them, but they still shine on. Any remedies?

No, I dont think there is anything you can do now...Next time you have to press nylon put something on top of the item before you put heat to it.....Like a damp towel...
