Rise above it. Become a black person in a position of power. The doors aren't closed to you anymore, though there may be more obstacles in your way... they are not closed.

Seriously, that's the best way to influence anyone or change anything. Just play the game and win it... instead of sitting around and complaining about it, because complaining from a position of no power is not going to change anything and is just going to make you frustrated.

The black "struggle"<(spell check please!) is a fraction of what is was in the even the 1960's. And it was much tougher than that before. It is now being perpetuated by the so called "Black Leaders" in a fashion that keeps them down better than anything that the Klan had in mind.

There is a lot of prejudice, but less racism than most people think.
The US government does not owe Black people anything except equal protection under the law. Scrupulous protection, but equal.
The sense of entitlement that has developed in some circles is self defeating.
Whites, heck Asians, Pakistanis. Indians, and others, are not angry groups demanding the next handout.
The Black people I know personally and admire (former bosses, I think I have had ONE white boss in 20 years), attempt to distance themselves from the whole issue, and get on with things like college, family, a skill, and career.

Blame yourself rather than other people and the government. If your not well off its your own fault. There is no struggle, this is just used as an excuse for being lazy. I know many successful white and black people with no issues on this subject. Thinking like this will bring yourself and your people down. Quit complaining, go to school and be somebody. Nothing is standing in your way to be someone successful.

Anti-depressant and / or anti-anxiety medications.

They'll make you feel better, your relationships will improve dramatically, you'll take an interest in life that you've thought you'd never have again, you'll get a job you like instead of one that merely pays the bills - generally speaking, the problems you think you have will go away and you can then deal with whatever your real problems are.

define this "Black" struggle??

you mean "MONEY" don't you?? Well dear..get a job!! Work. Don't expect any handouts or favors..deal with real life and stop hiding behind the color of your skin. This isn't 1898 anymore....nor 1955 either. Its 2006..and your race is everywhere..doing everything. the only struggle i see is some of you think your all descendants of the Pharaohs..which you never were. ..and you all deserve some kind of worship or payment for being alive.

No ONE paid me for being born..so why you?

Live somewhere else like China or in the poorest parts of India for a month, then you'll realize how good you actually have it here.
