I spot wash cat yak as soon as I see it on our laminate floors with a damp rag. Then I dry the spot with a dry rag right away.
I tried the wet Swiffer and there's too much cleanser in it which is responsible for the streaking as it dries.
I tried a Bee Mop with a measured bucket of hot water and Mr. Clean (or was it Lysol? it doesn't matter) and had to rinse even that AND dry it with a rag. That made 3 passes over the same area. Way too much work!
Murphy's Oil soap meticulously measured and appiled with a large terry towel flat "mop" designed specifically for wooden floors seems to work. For sticky bits and scuffs, I use a nylon pot scrubby and dry rag the excess moisture, rather than get the "mop" unnecessarily wet.
Those terry towel applicators can be washed and dired in the laundry machines which makes them far more economical and ecologically better too.

Murphy's Oil Soap. Follow directions for mixing in your mop water and it will not need rinsing and will not streak. Another lady and I clean houses and businesses as a team and that's what we use. You just have to make sure you measure it correctly. If you use to strong a mixture it will streak.
