"who here likes soccer/football?" - i think most of us do since we keep coming back to this section to answer questions!!!!
and...
"who here plays soccer/football?" - does it matter??? if you need pointers or hints, thats fine, but does it matter who plays soccer??? its not like you have to play the sport to love it.
ok, im done my rant. hope no one was offended, if so i apologize...i just dont think i can take seeing these two questions anymore!!!

Yes, I agree with you, I wouldn't be on this web page if I didn't love football (soccer). And it really is pointless to ask questions like who plays, because many people don't play football (soccer) but love it as much as life itself.

Considering all the offensive insults that fly around here, asking if someone plays or likes SOCCER isn't inappropriate. Maybe they are young children trying to make friends and your snobbishness is turning them away. This place isn't named Lola P's Yahoo! Answers.

I love soccer and i have been playing since i was a kid, although not as much now, My fav team is the Argentina soccer team

I agree..................it especially gets me annoyed when people ask who won the world cup.It happened a month ago and people still don't know. Also questions like that can be done through research..................why use points to ask something which you can get on yahoo or wikipedia. I prefer questions which allow you to give your opinion but I don't mind sharing factual info but for intelligent questions!

I agree..What is the point in asking stupid questions like that..I mean you ask those questions like if you want to see who plays, but they never talk to them about it..Its not like they care...Their just trying to get points or something..
