i dont do it, but getting pretty sick of the ones who do for no good reason, some are out for a big joke to wind people up and thats fine but the ones who insult every question make me cringe with embarrasment for their lack of regard to others feelings

I don't like it. I don't intentionally put people down. When I hear or find that I have.... it gives me a sick feeling. Guess because I know how it feels. We've all been put down by others at one time or another in our life time.

Used to do it all the time, and loved it. Then Jesus got a hold of me and I had an icky feeling everytime I did it, even to the "deserving people." That was the Holy Spirit convicting me to repent. The book of James is a great place to start to learn about controlling the tongue instead of letting it control you! Whatever comes out of your mouth is what is in your heart in abundance, and I certainly don't want that to be gossip! I'm not perfect and I do slip into this from time to time. But that icky feeling comes and I repent. Jesus cleanses me and I get a fresh start! How cool is that?!?!

I don't like to put people down. Even when they might deserve it I try to look at their side and realize how sad they must be.

I don't like anyone being put down.Some people like to put others down(evil world) but noone likes being put down(not even those who put down others).They need to be prayed for.

I haven't done that in a while, but as I recall I felt a momentary rise in self worth and then I'd feel rather small, like crap.

It makes me feel guily because I know that it's wrong but I would guess that it would make some people feel good because they have such a low opinion of themselves.
