There are chances of infection. There isn't that much risk though. I agree, she'll regret it when she's older and has a hole in her head. Most girls hate their noses. I know I always did when I was a kid. All of my friends who I thought had nice noses were constantly saying theirs were horrible too.

BUT if you think a nose is your worste feature, then putting a nosering in there will draw even more attention to it. If she's like all of the girls I knew, she'll hate the idea of people thinking her nose was MORE prominent (or appeared even bigger than it was). Good luck!

Normally nose piercing is safe if done by practiced hands and in aseptic conditions. The common problems are:

• Bleeding.

• Pain.

• Use of un-sterile methods can lead to infection and maybe HIV infection as well if the same instrument has earlier been used for a HIV infected person, which has not been sterilized properly.

• Rarely, shock can also be precipitated.

I agree w/ the other posts. However, if after all that info she still wants to go through with it, I suggest you take her yourself. If she is that "desperate" she may try to sneak around you and do it in a way thats very dangerous. Take her to a piercing professional at a tattoo/body art parlor, or to the dr. If she decides later it was a bad idea, she can take it out and it will eventually grow back. Set ground rules for where and when she can wear the jewelry, once it has healed (eg, not to church, or to grandma's house), and stick to it.

First of all, I think that she is too young for a nose piercing. Granted, it may be what everyone else is doing, but that doesn't mean that she has to do it too. Any piercing which disturbs a mucous membrane (i.e. nose or mouth) can carry a higher risk of infection.

There aren't any actual detrimental unintended outcomes , and the in straightforward words complications may be that you'll get stuck which may be embarrassing if it replaced into your mum or your sister , dad and brothers no longer fairly so as they do it as well . !! you also want to substantiate you freshen up any mess when you've finished , and be confident to sneak those stained boxers contained in the wash without being considered !!!

Infections, and of course, general discomfort. And how would a hole react to a runny nose? Uggh!
