Why is it aceptable to see Womens breats and vagina on tele, but not mens Penis on the tele and papers?

Not really an answer to your question but I thought it funny that you can pick out the Americans by their answers.
Is British tele just that little more risque?

You don't see a 'turned on' ladies flower gardenson the tele (sadly) - and you can see a floppy penis on the tele (disgusting! LOL) Theres no difference between the acceptability...
Boobs are just boobs - they're great but not a sexual organ! You see mens nipples on tele and in the papers...

hmm...well, usually they do not show a man or a woman's genitals on public tv, just occasionally her breasts.
i don't know why..i didn't make the rules, but i would really hate for my 2 year old son to turn on the tv and see some guy's thing on the screen during the day.

Its interesting that the only morale stance on the issue is that you cannot show an erect penis on TV. There is no rule about a flaccid one (ooh, dontcha just hate the word flaccid - it really does say it all).
