We give it to charities and do good things with our money. You republigoon neocons are rich and stingy and want tax breaks to keep more of your money which should be shared with the rest of us to spend on stuff and liberals are smarter than conservitives and we liberals are sharingly people.

John Kerry and his wife; she's the Heinz Ketchup heiress - hardly poor.

Senator John Edwards; Kerry's running mate; made millions as a litigant attorney - acts like he's for the little guy.

Bill & Hilary Clinton - I don't see them on the welfare line.

The Kennedy family; ultra-rich, so much so, that as a good gesture for keeping him in office so long, Ted Kennedy give his pay to charity. - Didn't their Dad get his start as a rum-runner way back when?

And a host of other rich Democrats who claim they're for the poor people.

Oh, let's not forget Al Gore trying to portray himself as a fellow farmer in Tennessee, talking about "plowing the back 40, then help our neighbors do the same before dinner".
Sorry, he went to an elite school during the days he claimed to be farming.

The only difference, really, is Democrats donate money to charity to bring down their tax bill.
Republicans seek to change tax laws so they can keep all their monies for themselves.

Some notable rich liberal families-Kennedys, Heinzs, etc.
many conservatives give to charities aswell, the reason we don't want higher taxes is, it is a personal choice to give, it isn't the government's responsibility to do it for us.

Libs don't donate money, cons do. What do you think cons do at church? And libs believe that people in need should be taken care of by a government program that costs lots of money in taxes. That is the wrong way to do things. Cons donate to private non-profit organizations to help others while libs demand the government to do that by stripping it from the "rich". In the end more money is wasted and everone is mad.

Yah, right. Keep telling yourselves that. Did you know that the Kennedys are among the richest families in America?

Liberals are also typically more educated and thus seldom use run on sentences and non-existent words like 'sharingly'.

Because most liberals live on welfare checks. They never work.

So that's where your hardly earned welfare check goes, and I thought it was used to buy crack.

Liberals don't have much money because it is harder to get a raise in welfare payments these days.BTW I am not a rich conservative(very far from it).I do believe i,and i alone, can determine my financial future, not the government or charities.I will give half of the money in my bank to charity if all of those rich hollywood liberal types would do the same.I can boldly say that ,because none of those tightasses would ever take me up on that offer. How about it Oprah!

If being poor is all it takes to be a liberal, I'll fit in just fine. My husband and I DON'T have a lot of money. We never have, and we probably never will. However, I do give as much as I can whenever I can.
And we're both moderate with some conservative leanings, though he's more anti-gay rights than I am, he's pro-choice and I'm not, and he's for same-sex marriage while I'm only for legal unions.
