I had to pause every seen of this foreign movie I just saw. It was funny though.

I tend to avoid foreign films, both because it is difficult to watch and read at the same time, and also because they are aimed towards a different audience, a different culture, their message often escapes me and I end up finding them boring and meaningless. Seriously, unless there's the promise of some nudity, I cannot sit through a full foreign film.

Since english and american movies are foreign for me I have learnt to read wery young and now I don't need subtitles because I kno language well enough to understand them. Subtitles ar much better then sincronisation. Can you imagin not to hear real actor voices ever. Maybe it is hard to read subtitles in the begining but you get used to that. You will miss alot if you watch only movies that are on the language you understand.

You cant generalise like that because i'm sure other people watch films with subtitles, if the acting is brilliant, and you can follow the subtitles where's the problem...some of the best films i have watched have been those with subtitles.

The only foreign movies I watch are martial arts movies like Ong Bak, so there aren't really that many subtitles to read.

Sometimes it can be a pain to have to read, especially if they talk fast and the translation goes away before you can finish reading it, but there is this one movie I like cause of the music and singing. Its called Lagaan: Once upon a time in India. Its a pretty good movie and I like it a lot.

Nope, I love them. Then again I am used to subtitles. I use my closed captioning a lot.

i watch them and i can keep up with the subtitle. and im not even 12.

I do the same thing pause read continue. lol. One of my favorite is Tie Me up,Tie Me Down. Wish I could find that on DVD.
