Depends on the medication. Certain medications come with a warning that chewing them can be dangerous as too much of the medication is released at the same time.
Chewing meds usually leads to a really gross tasting paste in your mouth.....so why chew?

Depends on the medication. If it's an asprin... nothing different. If it's enteric coated like a laxative.... it will give you the worst stomach cramps ever.... just depends on the medication.
