Yes, for Christmas. In my town every year we have a parade and once we reach the center plaza there is a light-up dedicated to the children. It is custom here on the Island.

Yes, one year I was in our town Christmas parade. I walked with other members of my church--we handed out candy canes and papers with "The Legend of the Candy Cane" attached (papers explaining how candy canes can be related to Christ.)

yep I was a letter carrier in JR High and a cheerleader in high school and a parade crasher in college! Who would have thunk - little ol me!
