It allows for a chance to create an end, if the UN troops and the Lebanese military are able to stop Hezbollah from continuing their attacks on Israel.

If Hezbollah refuses to comply, and continues their rocket attacks, or refused to release the Israeli hostages, then the conflict continues. And that point, the UN and Lebanese forces will each have a choice.

Get out, assist Israel by attacking Hezbollah, or join Hezbollah in attacking Israel. And that's when things can get interesting.

You don't end a conflict with a scorpion by agreeing to a cease fire*. You end it with a well-placed boot.

Hell No where have you been lately this just gives Hezbollah a chance to rearm and regroup before they attack again.
