The DNA is from both parents. In the case of males it is 51% or more from the mother because of the short y chromosone.
Your traits are luck of the draw but most of the dominant characteristics come from the mother side of the DNA tree because she has a bit more DNA input - but just a bit.
--BUT--
A dominant gene from the father trumps that so basically without lots of study and mapping it is whatever happens. If all things were equal - and they arent- it would be a little bit more influenced by the mothers side.
