Ive been hearing things, that Berg sent in his people to distroy River for getting to vocal about his beliefs and his views on the 'children of god'. Or was River just looking for an escape, or falling under pressure of those around him?
Im a life long fan, and think about him more these days then ever (as im 23 and its strange to think he was this age)
Johnny Depp has no blame in my eye's, he didn't give out drugs... And the way the press went for him was just out of order!

You are the second person to mention so sort of conspiracy recently. No, I don't think there was anything going on except that River used too many drugs and partied too hard.

I don't think it was a conspiracy. Someone I worked with was at the Viper when it happened waiting in line to get in. She said it was really scary and he was aspirating on the side walk outside. I don't know if its true or not. But od'ing isn't pretty. And the way she describe the whole ordeal it seemed pretty real. Poor guy had no idea that high would be his last, horrible way to go. That is why I never did drugs because I don't think I could stop once I started. And the American press is always out of control, especially in Los Angeles and New York.

Not heard about the conspiricy theory, but loved River Phoenix, Stand By Me, really showed a very promising actor, who I think would have rivalled Brad Pitt, as both good looking, but with more depth of character. Sadly Hollywood is full of pressures and temptation, tough for any adult, but for children brought up in this environment you only hfave to look at stars from Shirley Temple, Judy Gardner, Drew Barrymore, McCaulky Culkin to see how it is a nightmare. Real shame, I heard although it was Johnny Depps club that he wasn't there that night.

In a word, no. And there's no Kurt Cobain conspiracy either.
People just don't want to believe that they were responsible for their own deaths so they invent conspiracy theories.
I agree with you about Johnny Depp. Even if he did give out drugs River was
an adult and he could have chosen not to take them.

I think people dont realize the mind set of a drug addict.
Its not a conspiracy, its a bad choice made under the influence of drug abuse.
Its sad, but thats what happens.
