If you were drinking (and possibly smoking) alot it could possibly be down to dehydration.
Your urine is naturally acidic and dehydration will cause your body to retain water making your urine more concentrated. Therefore passing urine will be more difficult, with the extra acidity aggravating the delicate skin in your urinary tract.
However if you had sex with somebody recently it could possibly be an Chlamydia and if you have a discharge as well I would recommend nip down to your sexual health clinic.
See how it goes today, drink plenty of water and if it isn't better by tomorrow make an appointment with your Doctor.

You might have a urinary track infection. Go see your doctor.
