EXCUSE me, Andy?? PETA has a special invitation with YOUR name on it. They'll be the first on the list, followed by the SPCA. By the way, swans weigh in at about 50 lbs., have large webbed feet, are the largest flying fowl, with wingspans of up to 10 feet, and give a mean bite, so you'll be easy to find. You'll be the guy with swan bites and web welts all over your arms, hands, head and face. Then, you will release your grasp and drop the swan, which will flutter to the ground and call all its friends. (If it's a whistling swan, the sounds will be fierce). Then the rest of the swans will come and play "connect the dots" on you. It will be your swan song.

It depends if the swan is dead or alive. If it is alive, you will have one hell of a struggle, but depending on how big the swan is - probably a decent distance, say 15 feet or so - but you'd better run as it will likely come after you.
If it is dead, it will depend on if it is frozen or not. It is easier to throw a frozen animal farther. Although I have no personal experience at this - I have seen them shoot frozen chickens out of a cannon before, and they go much farther than thawed chickens, perhaps the same is true with swans.
Happy swan throwing!

Not far. A swan is a huge bird, much larger than a turkey. Also, you wouldn't get near its head because it would fly up at you with its huge wingspread and start pecking at you with its bill, which is hard. Swans use their bills like a hammer. Even other birds don't mess with swans.

This is possibly the single funniest question I have seen on here in weeks. I am still laughing at the imagery. I would think pretty far by the way. I'd say 40 or 50 feet.
