The medical name for this is Blepherospasm.

The most common things that make the muscle in your eyelid twitch are fatigue, stress, and caffeine. Once spasms begin, they may continue off and on for a few days. Then, they disappear. Most people experience this type of eyelid twitch on occasion and find it very annoying. In most cases, you won't even notice when the twitch has stopped.

My eyes twitch sometimes when I'm under stress. But think about it--if you're under stress, then bad things are already happening. Is the eye twitch really an omen, or merely a symptom? If bad things are already happening and another one happens, is it because your eye predicted it or because it was gonna happen anyway? I say the twitch doesn't predict or cause bad things to happen--bad things are already happening and you're just in the middle of them and have a symptom of stress. Try to figure out why you're stressed and if there's anything you can do to reduce your stress level and make things easier to deal with. It might be an important indication, but not in the way you think.

my mom was born with a veil over her face which the doctor had to remove. this is a sign of having been blessed with a gift. u can choose to use it in a bad or good way she chose the bad. shes in black magic bad. my sister and i were not born with the veil but still have a sort of gift i guess sipping from our mother. everytime our left eye twitches something bad or negative happens. it has never led us wrong so when it starts it doesnt stop till whatever happens. we just wait. thats all u can do. by the way we havent seen our mom in 30 yrs.

Its just a muscle spasm caused by stress and upset. Whatever you have heard is just an old wives tale so I wouldn't go stressing anymore about it otherwise it will never go away.
