can anybody tell me how i can get to salou from barcelona airport. i have looked all over the internet and it seems the cheapest way is by train. however this seems like too much messing about. i would just like to get a straightforward transfer from the airport to my hotel in salou but its going to cost 150euros each way in a taxi or 90euros in a private minibus transfer. this is way too expensive seen as tho i only paid £36 return for my flight from the uk!

There is no "straightforward" transfer. I would suggest taking a taxi to the station by the port (I can't remember if it's called Francia or Franca) and take a train from there. Your taxi will be about EUR 25 and the train will be about EUR 10 (I think). If you want a "straightforward" transfer, you have to pay big bucks for it.
