4.3l v6. Can you do it with a timing light or is it all electronic?

its all electronic,,the computer does it all on this one,,i own one ,,the only thing you actually can do for the timing is replace the timing chain ,,and gears when they get worn out,,other than that it pretty well is controlled,,all the time by the computer,,i hope this helps

before you do anything you must unplug the 4 wire connector from the distributor this will tell the computer that you are going to change the timing. then time like any other car with a light

theres got to be some kind of marks on the block that align with a mark on the sprockets to do this
