First, I'll answer your last question. Generally speaking, the ones I know do not function very well in life. Their relationships are often in pretty poor condition, they're not happy with the things they cannot control and feel bad about it, and they're intellectually lazy - facts are often something in which they're simply not interested.

As to whether or not they've lost their minds, the way they use their minds leads me to conclude that there isn't much there to lose!

The principal problem the Weak Sisters seem to have is that they want a nice, tidy, safe and hunky-dory little world like the ones they became used to in school and college.

Their so-called "teachers" generally spent NO time on how the world really works (leaving out the reasons for and the benefits of such minor things like armies & wars and commerce & jobs) and when they get out into the real world it's a terrible shock.

They KNOW that dictators and gangsters need to be put down but THEY don't have the courage or stomach for it; at the same time, they have an irrational dislike for the adults who realize that such tasks must be initiated AND completed.

As Americans who claim to love their country, most of them are a disgrace.

How do Conservatives function wanting to fight a useless war that is not getting anywhere, and let poverty build so high in the US that it is rediculous? How do Conservatives funtion sitting there saying Pro Life, but when the baby is born, they are against welfare that many people need to support it? How do Conservatives function knowing employment is raising to remarkable heights and not do anything about it? How do Conservatives function knowing that they are constantly trying to force religion into politics when this is a country where not everyone has the same religious beliefs? How do Conservatives function by not wanting minimum wage to raise when everything is so expensive, that many people literally cannot support themselves on $5.50 an hour while trying to go to college, feed themselves, and pay for gas. How do Conservatives function when they know that many young men are dying in a war that really is not going anywhere, and is basically as pointless as Vietnam?

They've lost their mind many years ago. It's called a mental disorder.

16 ways of a liberal

16. Your political theories sound exactly the same whether you're drunk or sober.

15. You're qualified to judge GWB the worst president in history even though the only other two presidents you can name are "Bill Clinton" and "Abraham Washington."

14. It makes perfect sense to you when you demand a conservative speaker be silenced because you consider him "intolerant."

13. You can openly regard blacks as helpless children unable to care for themselves and it's not considered racism.

12. Personal hygiene - Who needs it?

11. You can keep fantasizing that the Jeff Gannon non-story will finally gain some traction even though everyone with any brains gave up on it in March.

10. You can second guess conservative leaders for hours without having to worry about anyone second guessing liberal leaders. After all, nobody can second guess what doesn't exist.

9. It's easy to make time to go to anti-war protests when you rely on a welfare check instead of a paycheck.

8. When you post idiotic opinion, unsupported conjecture, or paranoid delusions on Yahoo, you just have to type "FACT!!!" at the end and your post magically becomes true.

7. You see no contradiction in hating Bill Gates who became a billionaire by selling a product that people want, and admiring George Soros who became a billionaire by weakening national economies and driving others into poverty.

6. You know deep in your heart of hearts that if the cat gets stuck in a tree, it really *is* the President's responsibility to get it out.

5. In the debate of religion vs. science, you can swear you have complete faith in science even though you never made better than a C- in elementary school science and couldn't even give the boiling point of water if your life depended on it.

4. Your most difficult philosophical question regards exactly what is meant by the word "is."

3. If your wife presents a threat to your lifestyle, you can openly cheat on her and none of your friends will be mad at you, provided you're President of the United States.

2. If a pregnancy presents a threat to your lifestyle, you can flush it and none of your friends will be mad at you.

1. If a girlfriend presents a threat to your lifestyle, you can drown her and none of your friends will be mad at you.

The assumptoin you're making in your question is that they had a mind to begin with. Don't be so quick to assume. I can see why you have a headache. They don't function. They dysfunction! God Bless you.

one step ahead of you. They never had a mind. The damnocrats are controlled by a magic chant performed when Sillary Clinton doesn't get any sex (and that seems to be all of the time)

They are the ones too afraid to make the commitment of putting their lives on the line for their country, so they spit and sputter and say war is bad (duh) and call bad names at the people who are brave enough to make a stand for freedom. Trying to deflect the truth of who they really are inside, scared and spoiled rotten little children. They love attention, too.

Being able to understand another person's viewpoint, even if you disagree with them, is a mark of civilisation.

Yep! They function because their delusions make them happy and they associate with other deluded people such as they. It's harder on us than they because they're in their own little happy world.
