Little deuce Coupe
You don't know what I got
Little deuce Coupe
You don't know what I got
Well I'm not braggin' babe so don't put me down
But I've got the fastest set of wheels in town
When something comes up to me he don't even try
Cause if I had a set of wings man I know she could fly
She's my little deuce coupe
You don't know what I got
(My little deuce coupe)
(You don't know what I got)
Just a little deuce coupe with a flat head mill
But she'll walk a Thunderbird like (she's) it's standin' still
She's ported and relieved and she's stroked and bored.
She'll do a hundred and forty with the top end floored
She's my little deuce coupe
You don't know what I got
(My little deuce coupe)
(You don't know what I got)
She's got a competition clutch with the four on the floor
And she purrs like a kitten till the lake pipes roar
And if that aint enough to make you flip your lid
There's one more thing, I got the pink slip daddy
And comin' off the line when the light turns green
Well she blows 'em outta the water like you never seen
I get pushed out of shape and it's hard to steer
When I get rubber in all four gears
She's my little deuce coupe
You don't know what I got
(My little deuce coupe)

Lyrics of Little Deuce Coupe are "I got the pink slip daddy" A lot of states before they had titles had instead a pink slip. This was both the registration and proof of owner ship. When I was a teenager in the '60s. We would drag race on Rt 35 in Ridgefield Connecticut at the NY state line. Was a nice straight mile or so in the country. It was perfect for a 1/4 race. Usually on or the other would want to put some money on the race. Betting would start at; "Let's run for pink slip." Which means the winner gets the losers car. Had to be pretty sure of your machine to do that! I ran a GTO (goat) one night. He wanted to run for pink slip. Well his goat had a 289 with 3 deuces. Kind of intimidated me so I said let's just run for the hell of it. Well I had a '66 Mustang Hi-Po. Basically a 289ci, solid lifters, dual point Mallory distributor, 4 speed and posi rear. This was all stock from the factory! Well surprised me, I blew his doors off. I remember looking over at his face as I passed him. I to this day don't know which car was faster as I could hear his breaking up as it needed a tune up bad! I kept mine tuned and it ran good most of the time. Got to tell you those dual points were a real pain in the *** to keep set right. Hope you enjoyed my true story.

I believe the line is "I've got the pink slip, daddy." As someone else pointed out, the pink slip was a document no longer used indicating ownership. There is a TV show called "Pinks" in which people drag race each other for the title to each other's car. Various movies of the era make mention of one's "pink slip." In the song, it means it is paid for.
The "daddy" part is a form of address, like " "Hey man!" It was parlance left over from the 50's but was still prevalent in Southern California well into the 60's, mostly into the surfing and car crowd scenes. One might use the word "dude" today in its place, (unfortunately.)
Addressing someone as "Big Daddy" was a sign of respect, in most cases, such as Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, the creator of the Rat Fink and many other icons of the era.

The phrase is "pink slip, Daddy." I'm guessing it refers to the title of ownership or registration.
From Wikipedia:
A "Little Deuce Coupe" is actually a 1932 Ford Coupe (the "deuce" being the year it was released). This was the definitive hot-rod, and featured a Ford flathead V8 engine. Inexpensive and relatively simple in design, it was easy to modify. A "pink slip" is the car's title.

I'm pushing 60 years old here in 2014. All these years I thought the lyric was:
"I got the big slick daddies".....racing slicks....big daddies...some kind of southern California drag racing colloquialism.
So this "pink slip" thing blows me outta the water. Maybe I'll ask A Beach Boy.

OK, we have a big difference of opinion. I hear "big slip daddy", not pink slip daddy. There is a slip daddy transmission, so I'm going with that.

Big Slip Daddy is a posi rear end that came with vette's and mopar cars. that means it have positive traction at both rear wheels. Jim is correct as to the actual lyrics of the song. listen closely and you'll be convinced. it makes no sense in the lyrics when they are talking about a competition clutch with four on the floor and she purrs like a kitten when the lake pipes roar, AND IF THAT AIN'T ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU FLIP YOUR LID, THERE'S ONE MORE THING "I GOT THE BIG SLIP DADDY". Who gives a rats *** if he has the pink slip to his own car, of course he does. It's only logical to have a posi-slip-rear in the car. If you don't believe me call Mike Love.

It's actually 'pink slip.' "I got the pink slip daddy," means that the singer won a race with his Little Deuce Coupe, earning him his opponent's car. The "pink slip" is the vehicle's registration, so "racing for pink slips" means the winner gets the other car."

They actually say "Big Slip Daddy" which refers to a limited slip differential transmission, also known as Positraction.
