BIG difference. Hermann Goering, Hitler's favorite at the time, probably burned the Reichstag, which was right across the street from his office.
The 9/11 attack was planned and funded by Osama bin Laden and carried out by foreign terrorists who came to America and took flight training while they completed the details of their plan.
