I mean sure I'm not fat but one of my dear friends is over weight and none of the guys will even give her a chance!! That kills me!! I mean guys are always hitting on me so why is it that no guys ever flirt with her the way that they do me?? when me and my friend go out together she's always upset because guys are always asing me to dance but she never leaves the table! :( why won't the guys see her as an attractive lady to? She's soooo pretty she's just a little overweight. She's has peircing green eyes and gorgous brown hair that I'm joelus of! So tell me why no one asks her out??

welll first of some guys are jerks thoes guy that aren't asking her out
are not that good looking either that or shes too pretty for them
they feel intimadiated by her beauty
advise take her out one of this days leave her there tell her to mingel around some people and tell her to look the sixest she has ever loooked be fore and in no time guys would be all over her belive me it works .

The media has shaped what people in our culture view as attractive, unfourtunately skinny is the ideal. A lot of guys think your friend is attractive but they have such low self esteem that they think their friends will think they are a looser or desparate if they show interest or date a fat girl. She doesn't want them anyway. There are guys who know a beauty when they see her and do not care what anyone thinks. Get out on the dance floor with her, have a blast and make all the guys notice the two beautiful confident girls smiling and having the best time without them.

Look, guys are sensitive to media exploitation as well as girls. BUT...here's the kicker: They are 'guys'...which means that they will believe what you put out there for them to believe. For example: if you have small boobs, you hold what you have up and act like you have big ones, and they will see you as having big ones! If you're a little overweight, you should carry yourself with class and pride and look the guys directly in the eye and smile; that means you are self confident with who you are and they will come around like flies to honey! If they're not asking her to dance, she should ask them. OK...rejection is a bit*ch but I really think she would do well to think of herself as voluptuous rather than overweight. And alot of guys love that in a woman! . You're a good friend for being so worried about your friend. God Bless.

girls have preferences too. i have the same problem i am a little over weight and guys just like me as freinds and do not want to get serious the right guy will come along. i am in my late 20s and finally found a guy who wants me for me and not sex or something else

tell them straight that if he dosent have a mate that will atleast ask her to dance or have a drink with her then the answer is no that will get sum1 to give her a chance

i know it can be upsetting,,, girls are made to be tender, vunerable. so a girl who is even a litle overweight, guys tend to ignore them. thats the way it is and it will be.....its natural!!
