When I had braces, I would always chew sugar free gum, and it doesn't usually stick to your teeth unless you put it on your braces. Most gums shouldn't stick to your braces if you don't let them touch your braces. I had braces that's how I know

I have braces. I'll be honest, I've chewed sugarfree gum and sugarless gum. The orthodontist told me that all gum sticks to braces. In my experience, none has. I would say maybe avoid any really cheap overly sugary gum, but beyond that....chew away.

Not sure.
But I have braces (I hate 'em), and it would be better to not get into the habit of chewing gum. I personally don't like gum.
Just don't chew gum.
